After years of planning and
creation, and following a recent extension, Stretton Circuit has developed a reputation for being one of the
most challenging tracks in the country - a real racers circuit . the total
circuit length is over 800m and one of the longest in the midlands. Racers
enjoy wide sweeping bends, high speed corners and superb visibility day or
night.
The alterations to the circuit mean that the original two braking points are
missed out completely and are replaced by a single hairpin on the extension.
The new track rises and falls with the local landscape, putting both the
racer and machine through it's paces.
Super smooth and very grippy
(particularly in the wet), the circuit can be run in a number of
configurations and can be run in the opposite direction for Championship
events. Every lap of
Stretton Circuit is timed and recorded on the race computer. Our circuit
finish line has an in built timing strip which allows recording of times
down to the 1/100th of a second! We can give you a printed listing of every
single lap time you record as well as giant monitors updating spectators on
every lap time being set by every kart on track in the session.
The Supersport timing system is compatible with
AMB160 transponders and the track has one
magnetic strip fitted on the start finish line. |
