The 2012 season see a number a big changes aimed at
keeping the series one of the best value sprint series available in addition to
keeping the series fresh for the drivers that have raced with us for many years.
Perhaps the biggest change this season is the introduction
of a new format for 2012. The series has been split into 2 championships with an
8 round summer series taking place between March and November followed by a 3
round Winter series from December through until February. We hope that this will
offer a great incentive to get involved in the Summer series and then give you a
kick start going into the winter with a whole new Championship to fight for.
Other major changes see's the introduction of a NO WETS rule
in the Honda and Subaru classes. As many of you know, Stretton and many of it's
regular drivers have competed in the EPEC series last year where the non use of
wets has been in place for a few seasons and it works well not only in reducing
costs but it also makes for some exciting racing.
2012 again see's classes for Honda, Subaru and the popular
Open class meaning that we have a class for virually every class of kart with
the exception of Gearbox karts.
Perhaps the best news of all is the 2012
prices are set to remain at last seasons level with senior race entry at £35.00
and Junior race entry at £25.00.
